BOSKO GOT HIS WINGS

Enjoy your new life, Bosko man!  June 8, 2021,

Our family rescue dog, Bosko, is almost 17.  Kate adopted him for Jesse in 2005 and he was their only baby for many years.

We never had him tested but he looks a bit like a pit and had a personality of a lab.  She worked at a doggie day care and training facility and gosh was he such a GOOD boy.  He could be in the middle of a football field eating a T-bone steak and if they would call "drop it" and "come" he would.  He could play dead with the point of a finger gun.  He could circle and rewind.  And just full of love.

That dog went with them every where.  The parents both have severe social anxiety and their doctor wrote a prescription that he was a therapy dog.  He was so well behaved that they should have had him certified.

Before Braeden and Deacon came along, he loved playing with his girl cousins.  He was so patient with any and all children.

They didn't care he was a boy dog!  They knew he loved jewelry

He loved swimming .... not so sure about being buried in the sand!

Such a proud stance!  Mr. Ralph and I babysat him a lot
and I think they will be glad to see each other again

He helped raise two boys (now 10 and 7) and this house will be too quiet from now on.  Tap tap tapping of toenails on the hard wood floor.  We will have to vacuum under the table a lot more.

Good bye and good luck, Bosko man!

  1. I'm so sorry to learn of Bosko's passing. It's got to be really hard on your grandsons, especially.

    1. We are all doing pretty well. The boys knew he was very very old and now getting sick. No pets unless Jesse wants one ... he did all Bosko's care giving

  2. How sad. Bosko was such a sweet dog dedicated to his family.. Fur babies are such a big part of our families. Safe journey over Rainbow bridge.
